What and how do I get the NEBOSH IGC EXAMINATION?
NEBOSH IGC has 2 UNITS that you need to pass.
Unit IG1: Management of health and safety: (Take home-OPEN BOOK Examination for 24 hours)
The open-book assessment will begin by giving you a scenario. This will typically describe a realistic organization or workplace with an outline of normal operational activities and worker behavior. The scenario may go on to outline a developing situation, such as an incident or safety intervention. You may be asked to imagine that you hold a specific role, such as a safety manager, in the workplace described. You will be asked to carry out a series of tasks, which may be split into several sub-tasks. We will specify the maximum marks available for each to help you manage your time. These tasks will partially or entirely draw on the signposts and evidence within the scenario. Answers, therefore, need to be relevant to the scenario and, in some cases, specific evidence will be required to support answers. As there is an expectation of more detail and reflection, you will be given 24 hours to research and complete the examination. This is a challenge that tests your ability to interpret the scenario before answering the questions set using the knowledge gained through your General Certificate studies. You will be able to complete the assessment at home wherever you are in the world. Exam schedule is once every month. To join an examination schedule, confirmation must be made 1 month before the preferred schedule.
Unit IG2: Risk assessment: (You can submit your IG2 report whenever you feel ready and completed your RISK Assessment).
This is an assignment wherein you need to carry out RISK ASSESSMENT in your workplace.
Please take note that all templates, guidelines, a checklist, and a model risk assessment from NEBOSH will be given to you as soon as you have registered or after the payment confirmation for this training.
Where and how do I register?
- If you are ready to register for your E-learning review and examination, payment can be made only by the bank transfer or paypal channels.Â
- Please take note that you may pay the E-Learning fee to have access to the materials and then pay EXAMINATION FEE when you are ready for EXAMINATION.
How do I get my certificate after passing the exams?
A notification will be sent to you by email once the certificates are ready. They will come directly from the NEBOSH office in the UK and will be shipped to Trainovate’s office in the Philippines. From there, Trainovate will arrange for the distribution. Additional shipping charges will be applied depending on the delivery address you will provide.

What is Digital Delivery for BOSIET/TBOSIET/BOSIET with CAEBS?
OPITO has launched the online learning method for the theory elements of the Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) suite.
A Digital Alternative to Learning
The learning of the theory for the BOSIET, Tropical BOSIET and BOSIET CA-EBS suite of safety critical training has undergone a digital conversion and is available as an online alternative to attending classroom sessions at a training centre. Once completed, final verification and the practical day’s session can be carried out at an OPITO approved training centre.
The online learning is available for all three standards – Emergency Breathing System (EBS), Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) and Tropical BOSIET – and has been developed to be accessed on all devices including smart phones, desktops, laptops and tablets.
Learners across the world can access the digital delivery anytime and anywhere in the world where they can access the internet.
The use of film footage, graphics, animation, voice over and text provides learners with a varied and interactive way to learn and helps prepare them for the practical training.
Five key benefits for employers, training providers and the workforce:
- The digital delivery provides an easy-to-access, flexible way to undertake the learning element of the BOSIET suite ahead of the practical session at a training centre. The online element is available to learners anytime and anywhere in the world where they can access the internet.
- It allows learning at the individual’s pace and enhances safety-critical knowledge through online assessment before progressing to the final verification and practical part of the training.
- Employers and workers gain time back through reduced days away from work (only one day required at the training centre for practical session).
- Travel and accommodation costs are reduced.
- Gives the training provider the opportunity to become a leader in the digital delivery of internationally recognised industry standards, and the ability to manage and affect increased efficiency at their centre.
